Founded in 2018 by experts in optics and non-destructive testing, Bossa Nova Vision develops and supplies innovative polarization imaging systems and cosmetic testing turn-key instruments.

Strong expertise in polarization imaging and image processing have led Bossa Nova Vision to develop sensors for various applications and technologies, ranging from cosmetic testing for the hair care industry to detection of magnetic signature on hard drive.

Sébastien Breugnot, Bossa Nova Vision General Manager and his team continually explore the application of innovative technologies to develop novel instruments and inspection techniques. Years of experience in mechanical / optical / electronics / software design coupled with a strong R&D background in optics and polarization imaging make Bossa Nova Vision the perfect solution provider.

Bossa Nova Vision was acquired by Dia-Stron in May 2024 and following the acquisition Dia-Stron and Bossa Nova Vision will combine their metrology and engineering expertise to develop integrated measurement and inspections solution for industrial and cosmetic markets. Bossa Nova Vision technologies are now available in the contract testing services in offered in the Dia-Stron application laboratory.”

TONY BESWICK

Managing Director

Tony Beswick joined Dia-Stron as Managing Director in March 2024. Tony spent most of his childhood in the Netherlands before returning to the UK to study Mechanical Engineering and Business at The University of Sussex. He started his career in 1993, joining Morgan Advanced Materials on a graduate leadership programme, working his way up to Divisional Managing Director, responsible for £40m+ (500 people) group of businesses in the UK, Germany and the USA. 

In 2017 Tony joined CeramTec a €600m PE owned Technical Ceramics Group during the sale of one of the Morgan business units to the Group. He worked as the Managing Director of the business unit that was acquired (£25m+) before becoming VP of Sales for the CeramTec Industrial Division. Since then, Tony has worked for PI Group the German precision motion company as their Head of Sales EMEA and also as a Divisional Managing Director for the Diamorph Group, leading the integration of several of their composite and polymer businesses.
