Sircal Instruments

This technique provides qualitative and quantitative analysis of a metallic sample for determination of its purity. The products are sold world-wide to OEM customers (spectrometer manufacturers that use such purifiers in conjunction with their own instruments) or directly to end users such as metal manufacturers and dealers, and test houses.

Acquired by Judges Scientific plc in March, 2010, Sircal Instruments is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fire Testing Technology (FTT). Manufacturing of rare gas purifiers was transferred to FTT's facility in East Grinstead, near London's Gatwick Airport subsequent to the acquisition.  

Although FTT and Sircal have separate histories, they have always shared a common objective: to ensure absolute customer satisfaction.

Geoff Spink is an experienced Board Director and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

He has previously worked in senior managerial roles within other subsidiaries in the Judges Scientific group, and prior to that, at a number of UK listed plc’s, and various private and venture capital-backed companies. 

Geoff is also Managing Director of Aitchee Engineering Ltd and Fire Testing Technology Ltd.
